JOB SUMMARY: Meets a variety of guest-related information needs for the Guest Services Center, promoting a professional and positive image of the Information Services Program and Medical Center.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED equivalent with three years of work experience. University level courses taken in communications, psychology, or a related area preferred.

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION: N/A

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Solves problems and provide referral services information for both internal and external requestors.

2. Provides directions for visitors to the Medical Center.

3. Provides information relative to Medical Center policies and procedures.

4. Uses the computer system to obtain requested information.

5. Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making ability Basic computer skills Knowledge of the Medical Center layout and services offered

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Clean, comfortable, well-lit environment
