Aufgaben
Objective of job:
- Work on the overall vehicle safety of Mercedes-Benz passenger cars as the representative on behalf of RD headquarter Safety speaker;

- Monitor, coordinate and drive to realize the given objective of occupant safety, pedestrian protection, child safety and active safety with the relevant function teams;
- Resonsible for vehicle passive safety development including concept phase, digital development phase, hardware validation phase until vehicle safety function released;
- Ensure the passive safety function development tests, e.g. crash tests, etc. are well conducted according to the testing specifications and project timeline;
- Evaluate the simulation result and physical test result in contrast with the given target, conduct trouble shooting, recommend the potential measures and carry out the implementation in cooperation with RD headquarter, RD China, MBRDI and other departments;
- Technically support homologation and consumer safety rating crash tests.
Qualifikationen
Qualification:
- Master degree or above in automotive engineering relevant majors (e.g. automotive, mechanical);
- Chinese native speaker with good mandarin, highly proficient in written and spoken English (negotiation level), German language is a plus;
- Excellence skills of cross function project management, follow-up of program timing, process, task execution;
- Self-responsible working attitude and strong initiative, structured working styles;
- Team work spirit, strong intercultural competence and communication skills with various hierachy levels;
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
- Good understanding of engineering software, e.g. Hyperworks, Diadem, Monaco, X-crash or Falcon;
- Willingness to travel.
