AKA PCS Finance Manager [South Korea]


 

Job Description Summary

This role will be a key finance business partner to AKA (ASEAN, Korea, Australia & New Zealand) PCS (Patient Care Solutions) leadership team and will be responsible for all financial planning, reporting and analysis of the PCS business in AKA, including financials reporting/closing, monthly operating review, budget/long-term strategy, pricing management and partnering with PCS GM/leadership team to enable decision making.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Own the standard monthly financial reporting that is necessary to measure the financial results and guide future business decisions. This includes monthly and quarterly financial packages that track trends and performance of orders, sales, backlog, costs, margins, pricing, inventory, and other critical metrics.
  • Partner directly with AKA PCS GM and leadership team to prepare PCS monthly operating reviews with AKA CEO/CFO as well as global segment reviews.
  • Monitor and analyze pricing trend at product and country level to understand key drivers and enhance profitability and support implementation of pricing strategy that aligns with market dynamics in each country with AKA PCS leadership team as well as country commercial team.
  • Lead budget/strategy process for AKA PCS, which includes coordinating with countries in AKA and Intercontinental region on growth targets, and formulate investment/capital allocation decision making.
  • Own profitability monitoring and trend analysis with key drivers (e.g. Price, Mix, Productivity, Unusuals, FX, etc.)
  • Lead standardization and automation of financial dashboard/reporting across different countries in AKA for consistent and centralized reporting capability that drive greater visibility.
  • Ad hoc financial analysis as required to support commentary/key driver analysis and in response to queries from the management team.
  • Communicate financial information, translate/educate financial concepts and impacts, facilitate interactions with region commercial and operating teams to influence decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or IT and minimum of 5 years of financial work experience including developing forecasts & operating plans and leading business / finance reviews
  • Clear thinking / problem solving: successfully led cross-functional projects/process improvement within operations/finance function involving process improvement; able to quickly grasp new ideas
  • Adaptable/Flexible: being open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations
  • Digital capabilities: experience with financial systems/applications (i.e.: Oracle, SAP, BI tools), basic understanding on system infrastructure & interfaces
  • Strong interpersonal skill: Confidence/Assertiveness and strong influencing skills
  • Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change
  • Excellent communication skills: experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions; able to clearly communicate complex financial information in an easy to understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing
  • Integrity: Accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions, and when dealing with others
