  • Preparation, cooking and presenting dishes within your specialty
  • To prepare authentic Chettinad cuisine and all varieties of Biryani.
  • Experience in South Indian varieties of food.
  • Prepping and preparing food materials (mixing dough and flour, preparing meat, cutting vegetables,etc.)
  • Cooking and baking in the tandoor.
  • Cooking kebabs and tikka (chicken,lamb, paneer)
  • Assist with stock ordering and monitoring procedures.
  • Should have knowledge in using various spices and herbs in preparing dishes.
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and health & safety at all times
  • Take responsibility for your own personal development
  • Demonstrate excellent food preparation practices, portion control and end to end food production
  • Perform any reasonable duties as required from time to time in order to contribute to the achievement of business aims and objectives.
  • Support the Head Chef in the introduction of new seasonal dishes.
  • Cascade your knowledge and expert cooking to all kitchen staff.
  • Able to prepare orders in a short span of time.
  • Should be ready to work in any shifts or in split shifts and rotational weekly off.
