WHAT YOU WILL DO
Implementation Functional Consultant will be responsible for deploying SAP Ariba Cloud solutions for several of our major customer projects in EMEA region, particularly focusing on the Buying and Invoicing (P2P) solutions portfolio, and the Ariba Network functional configuration.
The Implementation Functional Consultant serves as Ariba Solutions expert on application functionality and technical requirements will help lead the customer in the design, build, testing and deployment of their Cloud solution and associated business processes while providing project planning and services management.
Core to the Implementation Functional Consultant skillset are strong analytical capabilities, good communication and presentation skills, ability to deal with fluid environments, problem solve, operate independently, influence decision makers, as well as the ability to think outside of the box and work within the delivery team to provide the client with world-class service on a consistent basis. The role will be including the following key activities and responsibilities:
Dedicated to delivering exceptional results
Manage Project scope and timeline, tracking key project milestones and deliverables
Coordinate SAP Ariba efforts
Become Functional Expert on SAP Ariba Buying & Invoicing and associated cloud solutions
Speak to a variety of customers from different departments, at different levels and in large or small groups (e.g. client project manager, technical team).
Educate Customer (onsite and remotely) on SAP Ariba Cloud solutions
Guide customers through the design process to make decisions with full visibility into Ariba Best Practices.
Influence the opinions and decisions of clients using understanding of client’s organizational processes and structure.
Map, configure and document customer’s Business process,aAdvising on solutions and workarounds
Gather Requirements for solution design and configuration
Drive ‘best in class’ business processes implementation on SAP Ariba Cloud solutions
Build solution, customer, and industry knowledge by leveraging the appropriate resources (internally at SAP Ariba and externally),
Plan and manages project tasks and resources to ensure deliverables are on time and within budget, and meets quality standards to achieve high customer satisfaction.Coordinate and communicating with team members across multiple stream, services and organizations
Own customer satisfaction during the successful deployment of solutions
Develop and maintain team’s operating principles, templates and work instructions, developing team trainings
Demonstrate influence and personal authority adapting style to manage company or cultural differences.
Participate in Team Training
Quickly learn new Ariba solutions in order to present them credibly and confidently to clients and Ariba consultants or partners.
Up-to-date with the features, functionalities and applicability of distinct areas of the Ariba Commerce Cloud suite, especially focusing the expertise in the Operational Procurement solutions suite (Ariba Buying & Invoicing, Guided Buying, Catalog Management and Ariba Network solutions), with inclusion of invoicing requirements dimension, specific to customer and countries.
Complete required internal administration, including budget management, accurately and on time.
WHAT YOU BRING
Functional / Business Process experience in Procurement, Accounts Payable, Finance, Invoicing (min. 5 years)
Software implementation experience
Project Management experience appreciated
Experience with / knowledge of SAP Ariba solutions with a focus on Materials Management and Procurement functions and features would be a plus.
Experience with / knowledge of SAP solutions (e.g. SAP SRM, ECC/MM, S4, other) would be a plus
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION AND COMPETENCIES
University degree, preferably in business/computer sciences,
Fluent English is a must and another major European language (German, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Dutch, Swedish, Danish, Finnish) would be an advantage,
Technical understanding and capabilities,
Attention to detail, teamwork, initiative driven,
Analytical and problem solving mindset
Strong consulting skills and teamwork
Demonstrated Project Management or PMI preferred
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills,
Travel required (10%)
